The Exchange on Walt Disney World Resorts
Disney's Riviera Resort
Resort Category:
Deluxe Villa
Great for:
Families with kids of all ages, Couples, and Retirees.
Biggest Perk:
The proximity to Hollywood Studios and the ability to take the Skyliner Transportation to either Hollywood Studios or Epcot makes this a fabulous option if you are trying to avoid buses. We also love that this one is a smaller resort (making getting around very easy) with room configurations for many different size parties (1, 2, and 3 Bedroom Villas are available).
Biggest Drawback:
If the Skyliner is out of commission for any reason, the only transportation option for this resort is bus, which does not make it any more convenient than a moderate resort.
The Exchange's Top Tip:
Grab a dining reservation at Topolino's Terrace about an hour before fireworks for either Epcot or Hollywood studios for some magical delight!
Available Resort Dining:
Topolino's Terrace (Character Breakfast - 1 credit and Signature Dinner - 2 credits); Primo Piatto (Quick Service Dining); Le Petit Cafe (Drink Menu with some Quick Service and Snack Dining); and Bar Riva (Pool Bar with Small Plates Menu, no dining plan availability).

Overall thoughts:
The most attractive aspect about this resort is the price. For little more than a moderate resort, you get the deluxe experience at a brand new resort. If you are interested in testing out the Disney Skyliner, there is no better home base. This resort is also fantastic for getting rooms for larger families at a more reasonable rate than some of the other deluxe villa resorts.
