The Exchange on Walt Disney World Resorts
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
Resort Category:
Deluxe and Deluxe Villa
Great for:
Families with young children and couples (great resort for a Disneymoon).
Biggest Perk:
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is on the Monorail line for both Magic Kingdom and Epcot (via the Transportation and Ticket Center). The Marina for boat rentals and private charters is a great perk as well.
Biggest Drawback:
Price of rooms and the crowd at the main pool area on nice days.
The Exchange's Top Tip:
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto is a hugely entertaining spot for adults if you can get inside (it's worth the wait). If you can't get inside, the lenai out back serves the same food and drinks and is a lovely spot to relax in good weather. Also, the quick service in the Polynesian (Captain Cooks) has some of the best quick service meal options on property.
Available Resort Dining:
'Ohana (Table service & character meal for breakfast/brunch); Kona Cafe (Table Service); Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (2 Table Service Credits); Captain Cooks (Quick Service); Pineapple Lenai (Snacks/Dole Whip); Oasis Bar & Grill (Pool bar, some Quick Service options); Kona Island (some Snack options); Barefoot Pool Bar (Dining Menu available, but no dining plan accepted); Tambu Lounge (Tapas Dining Menu available, but no dining plan accepted); and Trader Sam's Grog Grotto (Tapas Dining Menu available, but no dining plan accepted).

Overall thoughts:
In this case, you truly get what you pay for. Everything at the Polynesian Resort is top knotch from the dining options, to the pools, to the fabulous kids areas and activities.
