The Exchange on Walt Disney World Resorts
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Resort Category:
Deluxe and Deluxe Villa
Great for:
Families with children of any age and Retired Couples.
Biggest Perk:
On the Monorail line for Magic Kingdom and has both a Salon & Spa and a Fitness Facility. The Marina for boat rentals and private charters is a great perk as well.
Biggest Drawback:
Some of the lower room categories are a hike from the main building.
The Exchange's Top Tip:
Make a reservation at Narcosee's for about an hour before Magic Kingdom fireworks. Not only could you possibly have a lovely view right from your table (tiered floors optimize views), but there is also an outdoor deck for viewing as well. If you don't want to make a reservation, you can also enjoy both the fireworks and the Electric Water Parade from the Grand Floridian Beach.
Also, don't miss the Enchanted Rose, the Beauty & the Beast themed lounge!
Available Resort Dining:
1900 Park Fare (Character Table Service Dining); Grand Floridian Cafe (Table Service Dining); Victoria & Albert's- including Chef's Table and Queen Victoria Room (Exclusive Table Service Dining, no dining plans accepted); Citricos (Table Sevice- 2 credits); Narcosee's (Table Service- 2 credits); Gasparilla Island Grill (Quick Service Dining); Beaches Pool Bar & Grill (Pool bar, some Quick Service options); Courtyard Pool Bar (Pool bar, some Quick Service options); Citricos Lounge (Dining Menu available, but no dining plan accepted); and Enchanted Rose (Small Plates Menu, but no dining plan accepted).

Overall thoughts:
This resort is fantastic for family reunions and couples traveling without children. The resort is large but has a luxury feel to it and provides several modes of transportation to get around resort property. With some of the best dining on property and a fabulous spa, you really can't go wrong staying here!
