The Exchange on Walt Disney World Resorts
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
Resort Category:
Moderate
Great for:
Families with children of any age and Family Reunions.
Biggest Perk:
The Caribbean Beach resort is connected to Hollywood Studios and Epcot by the fabulous new Disney Skyliner!
Biggest Drawback:
Essentially, it's the size of the resort that is the biggest drawback. If you do not plan on using the Skyliner, there are 6 bus stops around the resort that can really add on to your travel time between the resort and all of the parks and Disney Springs. This also means that if you are staying in a room that is far from the main dining and pool area, it could be a long walk to refill your drink mugs!
The Exchange's Top Tip:
When you are booking your room, you may want to consider booking a "preferred" room. The preferred rooms are located in the Barbados and Martinique sections of the resort. This location makes a huge difference to the time it takes to grab food, enjoy the pool, and walk over to the Skyliner. Worth the extra!
Available Resort Dining:
Sebastian's Bistro (Table Service Dining); Centertown Market (Quick Service); Spyglass Grill (Quick Service Dining); and Banana Cabana (Bar Drinks and Limited Lunch/Dinner Menu).

Overall thoughts:
We love this resort for families and large groups. The resort itself has lots of variety as far as rooming options are concerned and some rooms will fit families of 5. The resort pool complex is one of the largest on property and is near the quick service dining area that provides lots of options for hungry kiddos. Because the resort is so large, there are 6 bus stops around the property, which can get a bit annoying, so add on a little time when you are planning what time to leave for dining.
