The Exchange on Walt Disney World Resorts
Disney's BoardWalk Inn
Disney's BoardWalk Villas
Resort Category:
Deluxe and Deluxe Villa
Great for:
Families with children (great for older kids) and Couples & Retirees.
Biggest Perk:
The proximity to Epcot and the fun activities available on the Boardwalk make this resort both convenient and fun! You can walk over to Epcot and you can take the boat over to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Biggest Drawback:
The size of the resort and inconvenient placement of elevators and stairs sometimes make the walk to the room after a long park day feel like a neverending hallway horror movie. Also, that giant clown head at the main pool is the stuff nightmares are made of (for some folks).
The Exchange's Top Tip:
If you book or request a boardwalk view room on an upper floor, you can see the Epcot nighttime fireworks show from your balcony.
Available Resort Dining:
Trattoria al Forno (Character and Table Service Dining); Flying Fish Cafe (Table Service); ESPN Club (Table Service); Big River Grille & Brewing Works (Table Service); BoardWalk Bakery (Quick Service and Snacks); Pizza Window (Quick Service Menu); Leaping Horse Libations (Pool Bar with Small Plates Menu); Belle Vue Lounge (Breakfast Pastries and Drinks); Ample Hills Creamery (Snacks); BoardWalk Joe's Marvelous Margaritas (Drinks and Snacks).

Overall thoughts:
This resort is in a great location, essentially between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. You could easily walk to either one, but note that the walk to Hollywood Studios is a bit further. Take a walk over to Disney's Yacht & Beach Club resorts and grab a 'kitchen sink; sundae from the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop (warning, not for the faint of heart). If you're looking for a rowdy good time, head over to Jellyrolls dueling piano bar for a few drinks and a great show.
