The Exchange on Walt Disney World Resorts
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (and Jambo House)
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village
Resort Category:
Deluxe and Deluxe Villa
Great for:
Families with children of any age, especially young children.
Biggest Perk:
The animal views are amazing.
Biggest Drawback:
The distance from all parks, but Animal Kingdom. This resort is only a few minutes from Animal Kingdom, but a good 20 minute or so bus ride from all other theme parks.
The Exchange's Top Tip:
This resort is a great option for staying at a wonderful deluxe resort but saving a little money because the pricing is very close to the pricing of upper level moderate resort rooms. This resort also has some decent pricing on larger rooms like 1 and 2 Bedroom villas.
Available Resort Dining:
Jiko: The Cooking Place (Table Service Dining - 2 credits); Boma (Table Service Dining); Sanaa (Kidani- Table Service Dining); The Mara (Quick Service Dining); Maji Pool Bar (Kidani- Pool Bar with some Quick Service Dining available); Cape Town Lounge and Wine Bar (Small Plate Menu, Dining Plan not available); Victoria Falls Lounge (Small Plate Menu, Dining Plan not available); Uzima Springs Pool Bar (Pool Bar with Small Plate Menu, Dining Plan not available); Sanaa Lounge (Kidani- Small Plate Menu, Dining Plan not available).

Overall thoughts:
This resort provides a Disney experience like no other. There are wonderful animal viewing areas all over the resort in case you decide on a standard view room. Don't miss out on some of the special animal tours that are only available to resort guests. This resort also boasts one of the best breakfast buffets on property at Boma.
